TWELFTH FLASHER CONVICTED AFTER EXPOSING HER BREAST AT ORANGE PARADE
Twelfth flasher Clodagh Byrne has been convicted of charges arising from her behaviour at the main Orange parade in Belfast last year. The 32-year-old exposed her breast and posted footage of the event online, causing a social media storm.
She also posted videos of herself in a classroom of a grammar school in which she referred to “British d***heads” and “British f***ing w***ers” and can be heard saying: “I’m in your f***ing classroom.
Play your f***ing big bass drum.
Give us back our six counties.” Byrne, of Tullycarr Road in Co Tyrone, denied the offences and took her case to Belfast Magistrates’ Court.
She was convicted of indecent behaviour after a judge found her actions of exposing herself, involving pulling down her top in front of the camera, very deliberately.
The court also noted remarks demonstrated hostility towards Protestants, which aggravated the offences.
Byrne was fined £300 and a £15 offender levy, with 28 days to pay.
