CLAYTON CHIGOYA FROM SLOUGH SENTENCED FOR EXTREME ANIMAL AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
A social worker based in Slough has been handed a suspended prison sentence after authorities uncovered disturbing evidence of his involvement in possessing highly explicit and illegal images.The case against Clayton Chigoya, aged 47, revealed a troubling pattern of behavior involving the possession of extreme animal pornography alongside indecent images of minors.
Following a detailed three-day trial, the court found Chigoya guilty of five counts related to the possession of extreme pornography, which included graphic footage involving animals such as horses, eels, and a large fish.
Additionally, he was convicted on two counts of possessing indecent images of children.
The police investigation, which began in 2013, led to the seizure of multiple electronic devices from his residence in Slough.
These devices contained hundreds of illicit videos and images, highlighting the severity and scale of his offenses.
During the proceedings, Chigoya maintained that he was unaware of the content stored on his devices.
He claimed that the videos had been sent to him and that he had taken steps to delete them, asserting a lack of knowledge about their nature.
Despite his claims, prosecutors underscored the gravity of the crimes, emphasizing the potential danger posed by such material and the importance of holding offenders accountable.
In sentencing, the court imposed a three-month prison term, which was suspended for one year, meaning Chigoya will not serve time unless he commits another offense within that period.
Furthermore, he was ordered to comply with a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a measure designed to restrict his access to certain online content and prevent future offenses.
