CHRISTOPHER FOWLER'S SHOCKING TERROR IN PERTH: STALKING, THREATS, AND VIOLENCE AGAINST EX-GIRLFRIEND
In Perth, Christopher Fowler, a repeat offender with a history of domestic abuse, shared a topless video of his ex-girlfriend with her new partner without her permission, shortly after completing a demanding rehabilitation program designed to address domestic offending. The construction worker was previously mandated to complete a two-year program called the Caledonian Programme after admitting to abusive behavior against a former partner in 2022.
At Perth Sheriff Court, it was revealed that Fowler had previously visited his ex's home uninvited and hung a handwritten message over her car’s windscreen that read “narcissistic lover.” He returned to court to admit to a new series of abusive acts against an ex in Kinross-shire this July, which included leaving threatening voicemails and sharing a topless video.
Prosecutor Andrew Harding explained that Fowler and his ex had been together for around two years before breaking up this year.
He recounted that on July 21, the woman invited Fowler to her house to discuss their breakup.
During this meeting, Fowler became increasingly aggressive about her new relationship, shouting in a manner that scared her.
Fowler agreed to leave, and she had to call her partner to stay with her due to her distress.
Throughout that evening, she received nine voicemails from Fowler, in one of which he insulted her as a “cheap slag.” The next day, her current partner received a WhatsApp message containing a video of the woman topless.
Court documents confirmed Fowler had secretly recorded and shared this video without her knowledge or consent.
The woman contacted police after her new partner informed her about the video.
During police interviews, the victim also received two aggressive voice notes from Fowler, where he claimed he would return to her residence claiming he wanted to collect a washing machine.
Fowler was subsequently detained that evening.
He expressed to the court that he did not want a non-harassment order imposed, stating that he was aware of his issues with alcohol.
The judge, Sheriff Derek Reekie, chose to defer sentencing until the new year to arrange an alcohol treatment assessment.
Fowler, from Grampian Court in Perth, has a history of domestic offenses, including stalking another ex-girlfriend in Perthshire in late 2022—an incident involving uninvited visits and a hammer at her window, along with leaving a sheet inscribed with “narcissistic lover” on her car.
Previously, in 2010, he served prison time after forcing his way into another ex-partner’s house in Edinburgh, where he was found hiding under her bed.
