CHLOE SIMPSON OF LOFTUS RETURNS TO COURT OVER BASED ON CHILD AND ANIMAL ABUSE IMAGES IN JUNE 2023
In June 2023, Chloe Simpson, a woman from Loftus previously convicted of serious sexual offenses involving animals and children, appeared in court again.She is charged with failing to adhere to sex offender registration rules and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Simpson, 26, pleaded guilty to these charges at Teesside Magistrates’ Court last Friday, with the case subsequently moved to the crown court for further proceedings.
The charges specify that on July 5, 2022, in Saltburn, as a registered offender, she failed to register with authorities within three days while creating seven aliases.
Additionally, on the same date, she allegedly used internet-capable devices while prohibited from doing so under her SHPO, which was issued by Teesside Magistrates’ Court on May 10, 2021.
Simpson, residing on St Hilda’s Terrace, Loftus, was granted bail and scheduled to appear at Teesside Crown Court on June 23.
This is not her first appearance at the higher court; in June 2021, she received a suspended 10-month prison sentence and a ten-year ban on owning or caring for animals.
Court records reveal that her electronic devices contained disturbing images and videos, including those depicting bestiality involving two dogs and other extreme pornography involving horses and dogs, amounting to nearly 10 minutes of video footage.
Police found five indecent images of children under ten and a prohibited image of a child.
An examination of a seven-year-old Shih Tzu highlighted acts of cruelty that could have caused infection or death, although the dog showed no symptoms.
Simpson had shared her interests in child abuse and bestiality with others via Kik Messenger and previously admitted to multiple charges including causing unnecessary suffering to animals, possessing illegal images of children, and extreme pornography.
During a 2021 court session, her defenses suggested she was exploring her sexuality and was in the process of gender transition, with her mother reportedly disowning her after her offenses came to light.
In May 2021, Simpson, then aged 23, admitted to performing a sex act on a dog and possessing extreme images of animals.
She appeared before Teesside Magistrates’ Court and confessed to three counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a dog between March 2019 and May 2020, possessing a prohibited child's image, holding extreme pornography involving horses and dogs, and making five category A indecent images of children.
Prosecutor Alan Davison stated that police discovered Simpson after being alerted to the download of indecent images, leading to devices being analyzed and troubling content uncovered.
He emphasized that her sentence might require a higher court’s intervention, and her case was scheduled for sentencing at Teesside Crown Court.
Simpson, living on Dundas Street, Loftus, was granted unconditional bail until her sentencing hearing.
