He came fourth, receiving just over 1,000 votes, and was expelled later for plotting against then leader Nick Griffin.
Baillie claimed that white people needed a party to represent their views, while Griffin sought to amend the BNP’s constitution to comply with anti-discrimination laws.
Baillie then formed the Britannica Party, which stood four candidates in the 2012 Glasgow City Council election and supported a No vote in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum.
Baillie’s LinkedIn still lists him as leader of the Britannica Party.
