EX-BIRMINGHAM SCHOOL STAFF CHARGED WITH SERIES OF CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Two former employees at a Birmingham school have been formally charged with child sexual offences.Chantelle King, who resides on Peckover Close in Rowley Regis, and Mohammed Sakib of Aldersea Drive in Aston, face charges of sexual assault and inciting sexual activity involving minors.
The alleged incidents occurred during their employment at a Birmingham-based school, which BirminghamLive has chosen not to identify for legal reasons.
King, aged 25, is accused of committing two sexual assault offences against a minor, causing a child to observe a sexual act twice, and inciting or causing sexual activity with a child on four occasions.
She is scheduled to appear before magistrates on Friday, July 31.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated, “The alleged offences took place while both individuals were employed at a school in Birmingham.
They are no longer working there.
We are maintaining contact with the school and local authority and continue to support everyone involved.”
