CAROL GREER SENTENCED FOR GROOMING AND SEXUAL ABUSE IN BELFAST AND DONCASTER
A 76-year-old woman named Carol Greer, who previously worked as a teacher, has been sentenced to 13 and a half months in prison for a series of serious sexual offenses committed against a young girl during the 1970s. Greer, now residing on Thorne Road in Doncaster, will also serve a period of supervised release following her incarceration, ensuring ongoing monitoring of her conduct after her release.Greer pleaded guilty to 15 counts of indecent assault on a female, acknowledging her involvement in the disturbing acts that spanned from August 1971 to January 1978. The crimes originated during her employment at a school in Belfast, where the victim was a student. The Belfast Crown Court was informed that the victim, who was only 12 years old when she started at Newtownbreda Secondary School, was known to Greer as Ms McRoberts, her teacher at the time.
