WREXHAM MAN AVOIDS JAIL AFTER HEADBUTTING EX-GIRLFRIEND IN JEALOUSY FIGHT
A man named Callum Powell from Ruabon Road in Wrexham was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm after he headbutted his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Jones, in a domestic incident.
The court heard that Powell, aged 30, had previously admitted to the offence and appeared for sentencing at Mold Crown Court.
Prosecutor Catherine Elvin described how Powell, motivated by jealousy and jealousy, assaulted his ex-partner following a series of provoking behaviors, including his approach to her at a Wetherspoons pub where she was with her new partner.
Powell's aggressive behavior continued at her home, where he followed her and eventually hit her to the head with his hands, including a forceful headbutt that caused her to bleed and her eye to bruise.
