BRYAN LILLEY, WORCESTER RAPIST, JAILED FOR 10 YEARS
A VIOLENT rapist who carried out six sex attacks in Worcester has been jailed for ten years.
Bryan Lilley, who is formerly from Worcester but whose address in court was given as Reaside Clinic, Bristol Road South, Rednal, Birmingham, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court sitting at Redditch on Thursday (September 17).
The 30-year-old was convicted of four rapes and two counts of assault by penetration.
All the attacks took place between New Year's Day, 2021 and May 26.
Lilley had pleaded not guilty to the charges but was found guilty following a trial on April 4 this year.
At court, His Honour Judge Nicholas Cole sentenced Lilley to ten years' imprisonment in total.
For each rape, he was sentenced to ten years to run concurrently.
He was also sentenced to eight years for each of the two assaults by penetration convictions, also to run concurrently.
Lilley will also be on the sex offenders' register upon his release.
