MIDDLESBROUGH MAN ACCUSED OF SEX ACT ON EMIRATES FLIGHT FROM DUBAI TO NEWCASTLE
A Teesside man has been brought before the court, accused of performing a sex act on an aeroplane.
Britto Lorence denies allegations of masturbating on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Newcastle in June.
The 27-year-old stood before Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Friday, facing a single charge of outraging public decency.
Lorence entered a plea of not guilty to the offence, which is claimed to have occurred on June 2, last year.
Prosecutor Holly Clegg informed the court that the alleged incident took place on an Emirates flight en route to Newcastle Airport.
Lorence is scheduled to reappear in court for a trial on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 6.
Lorence, of Abingdon Road, Middlesbrough, spoke only to verify his personal details and to enter his not guilty plea.
He was granted unconditional bail until his next court date, reports Chronicle Live.
