BRAIN SIMPSON'S HORRIFIC CRIMES IN BOSTON: 81-YEAR-OLD SEX OFFENDER'S SHOCKING ABUSE REVEALED

In a disturbing case heard at Lincoln Crown Court, the actions of 81-year-old Brian Simpson, a resident of Boston, have been condemned as both offensive and repulsive. The court was informed of the heinous crimes committed by Simpson against a young girl, beginning when she was only nine years old, and the profound impact these acts have had on her life.

Prosecutor Phil Howes detailed how Simpson subjected the girl to multiple assaults over a period of time. When the allegations surfaced, Simpson was confronted by the girl’s family, who accused him of being a paedophile. In response, Simpson denied this label, claiming he did not see himself as a paedophile. Despite his denial, the evidence presented in court painted a grim picture of his misconduct.

Mr. Howes explained that Simpson indecently touched the girl on several occasions and, on at least one occasion, explicitly asked her for sex. The court heard that these acts left a lasting scar on the victim, who described her experience as a period of her life filled with suffering and torment. She characterized Simpson as a selfish monster, emphasizing that he only cared about himself and showed no remorse for his actions.

Simpson, who resides on London Road in Boston, pleaded guilty to three charges of indecent assault and four charges of indecency with a child. The court sentenced him to 18 months in prison and ordered that he be registered as a sex offender for the next ten years.

Recorder William Harbage QC addressed Simpson directly, stating, “Your conduct was offensive and repulsive to all right-minded people. You may not see yourself as a paedophile, but it is difficult to view you in any other way. She was an innocent girl, and you corrupted her. She describes her young years as a living hell. These offences are serious, and only a custodial sentence is appropriate.”

During the proceedings, Simpson’s defense attorney, Jonathon Dee, acknowledged the gravity of his client’s past actions, describing it as “sordid and disgusting,” and noting that Simpson’s age and health have taken a toll on him. Dee added, “While what he did was appalling, once confronted, he did not deny his actions and made a full and frank confession.”
