BRAIN HEYHOE FROM DEREHAM SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR CHILD SEX ABUSE IN NORWICH

In a significant case that has shocked the community of Dereham, 77-year-old Brian Heyhoe has been sentenced to six years in prison after being found guilty of multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of young girls. The offences, which spanned from 1995 to 2002, involved a total of 16 counts of indecent assault committed against two minors.

Heyhoe, a resident of Clifton Terrace in Dereham, was brought before Norwich Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to all charges. The court proceedings revealed the disturbing details of his misconduct, which had remained hidden for years before coming to light. Detective Constable John Carr of Norfolk Police expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, emphasizing the importance of delivering justice for those affected.
