BODGAN GUGIUMAN FROM GATESHEAD INVOLVED IN SEX OFFENCES AGAINST UNDERAGE GIRLS

A serious criminal case has emerged involving six men accused of committing multiple sex offences against underage girls in the Gateshead area. The individuals named in connection with these allegations are Codrin Dura, 25, Leonard Paun, 22, Stefan Ciuraru, 21, Bogdan Gugiuman, 43, Klaudio Aleksiu, 27, and Ionut Mihai, 27. All six are alleged to have engaged in criminal activities targeting six females under the age of 18, with the offences reportedly taking place within the Gateshead region.

Authorities have issued a plea to the public to refrain from speculation both within the community and on online platforms, emphasizing that such actions could potentially jeopardize ongoing legal proceedings. The police are urging patience and restraint as they continue their investigation into these serious allegations.

Codrin Dura, who resides on Ripon Street in Bensham, Gateshead, faces a total of 17 charges. These include eight counts of rape, four counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of attempted rape, one count of assault by penetration, and one count of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence. Additionally, Dura is charged with one count of supplying a Class A drug and one count of blackmail.

Leonard Paun, living on Windsor Avenue in Saltwell, Gateshead, has been charged with 11 offences. His alleged crimes include five counts of rape, two counts of arranging or facilitating a child sex offence, one count of sexual activity with a child, one count of sexual assault, one count of distributing photographs of a child, and one count of supplying a Class A drug.

Stefan Ciuraru, from Brinkburn Avenue in Saltwell, Gateshead, faces six charges. These are four counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual activity with a child, and one count of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Bogdan Gugiuman, who lives on Westbourne Avenue in Saltwell, Gateshead, has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of supplying a Class A drug. His involvement is particularly notable given his residence within the Gateshead area, where the offences are believed to have occurred.

Meanwhile, Klaudio Aleksiu, from Church Terrace in Windsor, Berkshire, faces two counts of rape and one count of supplying a Class A drug. Ionut Mihai, of Claremont South Avenue in Bensham, Gateshead, has been charged with three counts of rape.

All six men appeared before Newcastle Magistrates' Court last week, where they were formally charged and subsequently released on conditional bail. Their next court appearance is scheduled for August at the same court, where further proceedings will take place to address these grave allegations.
