DUMBARTON SEX OFFENDER CAUGHT WITH INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN AGAIN
NOW USING THE NAME BENJAMIN WATSON A Dumbarton convicted sex offender has been caught a second time with indecent images of children as young as four years old.Benjamin Campbell, previously found with thousands of images at age 18 in 2021 and spared jail, was found with additional indecent images.
The police discovered him with an unregistered iPhone containing 69 still images, including 16 category A images, 12 category B, and 41 category C, mainly showing girls aged between four and 16.
They also found 42 moving images, 24 accessible, with 21 at the most serious level.
Further, two PDFs from online extremities and a disturbing document titled 'All school girls are worthless wh*res, c*nts that need raped' containing 148 images of children aged 10 to 17 were found.
The offences occurred between December 1, 2021, and April 26, 2022.
Campbell had been registered as a sex offender since March 2021.
He pleaded guilty at Dumbarton Sheriff Court to taking or permitting the making of indecent images and possession of the images.
The court was told he previously received a 30-month community order and 120 hours of unpaid work.
His case will be sentenced on March 5 with reports pending, and he remains on the sex offenders register.
