KENT MAN SENTENCED FOR HOSTAGE, RAPE, AND VIOLENCE
A man named Anthony Hutchings, aged 27, who held two women hostage and committed acts of rape and violence, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison.Hutchings used a machete, knife, saw, and hammer to torture his victims during an argument over drugs at an outbuilding at his residence in Seasalter, Kent.
According to court reports, Hutchings forced one woman to strip and subjected her to an internal search in search of so-called stolen drugs.
He also physically assaulted both women, kicking and punching them.
During the incident, he held a machete to one woman's throat, and then made one of his victims stab another woman in the leg.
The woman who was stabbed managed to escape, but Hutchings proceeded to rape her three times and forced her to take medication that was not hers.
Hutchings was convicted on multiple charges including rape.
