A man from Cambridgeshire has been sentenced to prison after a disturbing series of online attempts to sexually exploit minors.
Alfred Dempster, aged 57, engaged in covert conversations with individuals he believed to be underage girls, with the sinister intent of luring them into sexual activities.
His illicit activities began on the popular messaging platform KIK Messenger, where he initially contacted someone he thought was an 11-year-old girl.
The conversation then shifted to WhatsApp on New Year’s Day 2020.
During these exchanges, Dempster explicitly asked the individual to send him provocative photos, encouraged them to touch themselves, and even instructed them to call him
