GLASGOW RAPIST CAUGHT THANKS TO SAT-NAV RECORDS
A rapist's sat-nav helped snare him for four vile attacks on elderly women.Aged between 74 and 94, the victims were terrorized during night-time home invasions where Gable tied up, robbed, and indecently assaulted three of them.
One victim was spared when she asked if he would do the same to his mother.
The 55-year-old was apprehended after his car's Tom-Tom device revealed he had been in the areas where the crimes happened.
Gable claimed he was searching for premises to open a cafe before being convicted at the High Court in Glasgow of the attacks.
It was revealed that Gable has a lengthy criminal record, including a 10-year prison sentence for raping a widow in her home located in the Borders region in 1989.
The court trial detailed how the assaults, including two in Ayrshire and one in Stirlingshire, took place between May 2009 and July of the previous year.
