ALEX HARPER FROM PAI GONTON JAILED FOR BRANDING TEENS IN DEVON

In June 2021, a sadistic individual from Paignton, Devon, Alex Harper, was sentenced to prison for his heinous actions involving the branding of two young teenage girls.

Harper, aged 24, caused permanent scars by carving his initials into the skin of his victims without their consent.

His disturbing behavior was linked to a fixation with domination, inflicting pain, and self-harm, and he claimed that the victims had agreed to the carvings.

However, Exeter Crown Court judge, Judge David Evans, stated that Harper was "sly, egotistical and calculating" and sought to "own" and manipulate vulnerable teenagers.

Addressing Harper's actions, Judge Evans said, "Your wounding of each of these women was carried out without their consent." Harper was convicted at trial of one charge of controlling or coercive behavior involving a 16-year-old girl.

He also admitted to wounding her and another teenage girl.

The court was told that both victims suffered psychological scars along with physical injuries.

While Harper presented himself online as a caring and sensitive individual interested in anime, it was revealed during the trial that he had a quick temper when things did not go his way.

The judge remarked, "This is an object lesson in the perils of so-called online romance," and added, "I'm in no doubt you were a very difficult person to get along with." Harper received a prison sentence of three years and four months and was also issued restraining orders preventing him from contacting either victim for ten years.
