ÂOBSESSIVEÂ MAN USED IPAD AND TALC TO CHECK MEN VISITING EX-GIRLFRIEND
Alan Fallon was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court <i>(Image: Newsquest)</i> for controlling and coercive behaviour, breaching a non-molestation order, and other abusive actions over a period of years.
He used talc and an iPad to monitor if his former girlfriend was being visited by other men, and exhibited obsessive jealousy.
Fallon was also involved in violent incidents, including slapping and threatening her, as well as threatening her and her new partner with a stab in July 2021.
The court described his behaviour as persistent, with a history of past convictions including assault and theft.
Fallon was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, with conditions including paying compensation and restrictions on contact with the victim and her family.
