BLACKBURN MAN TO BE SENTENCED OVER SEXUAL OFFENCES
A Blackburn man has admitted attempting to sexually communicate with a child.
Ahmed Rahmatulla, 51, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday (November 26).
He was charged with attempted sexual communication with a child, attempting to cause a child under 13 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity, and attempting to cause a female child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Rahmatulla, of Ripon Street, committed the offences between August and October of 2024.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences at a plea hearing.
He was bailed ahead of sentencing on February 23, which will take place in the same court.
