ADAM KEITH PARKER SENTENCED IN SOUTHAMPTON FOR REVENGE PORN OFFENSE

A man from Southampton, Adam Keith Parker, 30, attempted to humiliate a woman by sending revenge porn to her mother, a court heard.

Parker had access to the woman’s cloud storage account, allowing him to view all her photos.

Last year, he sent a nude image and another photo of the woman wearing see-through clothing to her mother.

The victim reported him to the police after the incident.

A Crown Prosecution Service solicitor stated that the messages caused the woman a "massive amount of anxiety," and she is now seeking assessment for PTSD.

In her statement, she said she felt emotionally exhausted, knowing that Parker had been monitoring her account, “stalking and keeping tabs on her.” At Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Parker pleaded guilty to disclosing private sexual photographs without consent with the intent to cause distress.

His defense, led by Oliver O’Connor, argued that the images were not publicly accessible and that the offense was less severe than if he had shared them publicly on the internet.

District Judge Peter Greenfield criticized Parker, emphasizing that his actions aimed to humiliate the victim.

Parker was sentenced to 12 weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months.

He must also complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities, pay £500 in compensation, a £128 victim surcharge, and £85 in court costs.

Additionally, he is subject to a restraining order for two years and three months.
