AARON WOODFORD FROM HAYLE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES IN MAIDENHEAD
In a significant case that has drawn considerable attention, Aaron Woodford, a 43-year-old resident of Gwinear, Hayle, Cornwall, has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a series of sexual offenses committed in Maidenhead during the early 2000s.The crimes, which spanned over a period of time, involved the abuse of a teenage girl, with Woodford allegedly preying on her for his own sexual gratification.
Woodford was convicted on multiple counts, including two charges of indecent assault, one count of gross indecency, one count of non-penetrative sexual activity, and two counts of penetrative sexual activity.
These charges stemmed from a detailed investigation and subsequent trial that revealed the extent of his misconduct.
The court heard that Woodford's actions were deliberate and targeted, causing significant harm to the victim.
Following his conviction, Woodford was sentenced to six years in prison.
In addition to his incarceration, he has been placed on the sex offenders register for life, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities post-release.

Despite denying the charges throughout the trial, he was found guilty after a five-day hearing at Reading Crown Court, which concluded on Friday, July 3.
