DEWSBURY MAN FINED FOR HARASSMENT AFTER FALSE POLICE ALLEGATIONS
Aaron Goodwill, a 27-year-old man from School Avenue in Dewsbury Moor, was fined for harassing his former partner after making malicious false allegations.
He falsely claimed to police that she was a drug and alcohol user in front of their children, which she proved false by a drug test.
Goodwill was guilty of harassment, having called her numerous times, sometimes being quite nasty, and visited her home four times on June 1, 2019, banging on her back door and shouting her name, causing distress.
Since the incident, she obtained a non-molestation order to prevent further contact.
Goodwill admitted only visiting her twice and stated he is voluntarily seeking help for his longstanding issue with alcohol.
The court fined him £80, ordered him to pay £85 in costs, and a £30 victim surcharge.
