MAN ADMITS ASSAULTING WOMAN AND POLICE OFFICERS IN WHITLAND

Zachery Lee Griffiths, aged 34 and residing in Golygfor, Llanelli, confessed to attacking a woman and two police officers.

He faced charges of assaulting and strangling a woman in Whitland on June 28, as well as threatening to damage her Mercedes A180.

Additionally, he caused damage to her phone and glasses two days earlier.

At Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on June 30, Griffiths admitted to charges of assault causing actual bodily harm, criminal damage, threatening to destroy property, and assaulting emergency personnel.

He denied intentionally strangling the woman but was granted bail and is scheduled to be sentenced on August 12.
