WOJCIECH LUBINSKI SENTENCED IN BALLYMENA FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Wojciech Lubinski, a 39-year-old man from Ballymena, Northern Ireland, has been handed down a significant prison sentence following a domestic-related assault that took place in Ballymena last year. The incident, which resulted in serious injuries, led to Lubinski being convicted of grievous bodily harm aggravated by domestic abuse, as well as a separate domestic abuse offence. The case was heard at Antrim Crown Court, where the judge sentenced Lubinski to a total of five and a half years in prison.

Of this sentence, Lubinski will serve three and a half years behind bars, with the remaining two years on licence, meaning he will be subject to supervision and conditions upon release. The assault in question occurred in February 2023, and the court heard evidence that painted a disturbing picture of domestic violence that culminated in a violent attack.
