CARDENDEN MAN, 68, ADMITS TO YEARS OF DOWNLOADING INDECENT CHILD IMAGES
William Kirk, a 68-year-old resident of Cardenden living on Woodend Park, has pleaded guilty to the possession of child pornography over a period exceeding three years.
The case was heard at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Friday, where Kirk admitted that between October 8, 2018, and October 31 the next year, he downloaded images depicting minors in indecent poses.
The sheriff, Andrew Berry, has delayed sentencing until August 3 to allow the Crown to prepare its narrative.
Kirk has furthermore been added to the sex offenders’ register as part of the court’s ruling.
