SELKIRK MAN PLACED ON SUPERVISION FOR INDECENT COMMUNICATIONS WITH MINORS
A 55-YEAR-OLD man from Selkirk has been found guilty of communicating indecently with what he believed to be two 14-year-old girls.He admitted to sending nude pictures of himself to one girl and asking to meet the other after transmitting sexually explicit videos to an adult decoy.
The incident took place at his home in East Port between the end of 2021 and the start of 2022.
The court heard that members of the Wolfpack Hunters group confronted him at his residence on January 5, last year, which led to police involvement.
As part of his supervision, William Henry is required to declare any internet devices to the police and is prohibited from contacting any child under 16 without prior approval from his supervising officer.
Additionally, he will need to comply with the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act for the next 12 months.
