WAYNE HARRIS OF COLEFORD CONVICTED OF SEXUAL ABUSE AGAINST BOY IN HISTORIC CASE
A man identified as Wayne Harris, aged 41 and residing on Smithy Close in Coleford, has been found guilty of a series of serious sexual offences committed nearly two decades ago.The conviction follows a detailed trial that uncovered disturbing details of Harris's actions against a young boy, which took place approximately 20 years prior to the trial date.
Harris was convicted on four counts of causing or inciting a child under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity, as well as two counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
These charges paint a disturbing picture of the abuse inflicted upon the victim, who was under 13 at the time of the offences.
The court heard that Harris, who was in his early twenties during the period of abuse, engaged in these heinous acts with the victim, causing long-lasting trauma.
