GROOMING DUO JAILED
Two men who groomed and exploited a vulnerable teenage girl have been jailed following a South Wales Police investigation.The offenses occurred in Cardiff in 2021, and the two men, based in the city, were convicted for crimes committed against the teenager.
Azad Ahmed, a 50-year-old resident of Grangetown, Cardiff, was sentenced to sixteen years in prison.
He was convicted on charges including two counts of raping a girl aged 13 to 15, one count of engaging in penetration with a girl aged 13 to 15 by an offender over 18, and one count related to arranging or facilitating travel for another person with the intent of exploitation.
Wasee Shikel, also aged 50 and from Splott, Cardiff, received the same sixteen-year sentence after being found guilty of facilitating or arranging travel for another individual with a view to exploitation.
