RAPIST JAILED FOR 11 YEARS
A man responsible for committing serious sexual offenses against two women has been sentenced to 11 years in prison, with an additional two years on extended licence.The case against Warren Goodin was triggered when one of the victims publicly disclosed her assault, which led to a subsequent investigation.
A second victim later came forward, providing further evidence, and a dedicated team initiated a formal inquiry.
Goodin, aged 22, was charged with multiple offenses, including three counts of rape, involving both women.
He maintained his innocence during the trial, but after a six-day court session, the jury convicted him on all seven charges.
At a hearing on Tuesday, 26th May, Teesside Crown Court imposed the sentence, which includes an 11-year prison term plus two years on extended licence.
