NORWICH MAN THREATENED THREE WOMEN WITH FAKE FIREARM
A man who threatened two ex-partners and another woman with an imitation firearm has been found guilty following a trial.Royal, of Oval Road, Norwich was convicted of three counts of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after a trial at Norwich Crown Court earlier this month.
He was also guilty of two counts of assaulting a person causing them actual bodily harm—both against a former partner on January 15 and 24 this year—and another offence of assault by beating against another woman.
The allegations include Royal pointing a fake black hand gun at the back of two women with whom he was in a vehicle on January 24 on Sweetbriar Road in Norwich, directing it at another woman during the journey, and threatening her after he was dropped off.
The jury took just over six hours to convict him on Tuesday (November 4).
He denied the charges.
Judge Anthony Bate adjourned sentencing until January 23 next year.
Royal was remanded into custody until then.
