TRACY FOX FROM WEST DRAYTON SENT TOPLESS PHOTOS TO TEENAGE PUPILS IN SHOCKING CASE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Tracy Fox, a 46-year-old school support worker from West Drayton, was found guilty of sending explicit images and inappropriate messages to two teenage boys.The incident, which came to light in December 2011, involved Fox initiating contact with the boys, both aged 15, through text messages that included lewd gestures and photographs of herself without clothing.
One of the victims confided in his head of year about the inappropriate communication in March of the following year.
This revelation prompted the school to take immediate action, leading to Fox’s resignation after the headteacher confronted her with the allegations.
Subsequently, the school contacted the father of the boy involved, who discovered the exchanged messages on his child's device, further confirming the misconduct.
Legal proceedings followed, during which a court order was issued to prevent the media from revealing the name of the school involved, in an effort to protect the identities of the minors.
Magistrates heard that Fox, who is married and a mother of four, was experiencing personal difficulties at home and was seeking companionship, which appeared to have contributed to her inappropriate behavior.
Prosecutor Jodie Hitchcock detailed that Fox had confided in one of the boys about her personal problems, often speaking to him privately in her office.
She described him as a “good kid” who was “misunderstood” at times.
Their conversations escalated to explicit content, with both parties expressing a desire to sleep with each other and engage in oral sex.
Although both boys reported that Fox had suggested they meet for sex, no such meeting ever took place.
Fox, residing on Harmondsworth Lane in West Drayton, admitted to six charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity while in a position of trust.
Her appearance at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on June 8 was marked by visible remorse, as she sobbed during the proceedings.
District Judge Deboragh Wright described the case as “difficult and sad,” emphasizing the serious breach of trust and the personal consequences Fox faced, including the loss of her job, strain on her marriage, and damage to her family relationships.
In her sentencing, Fox received a 12-month community order, along with a five-year sexual offences notification order.
She will be under supervision by probation officers for 18 months and will undergo mental health treatment for a year.
Additionally, the court imposed a three-month curfew as part of her punishment, reflecting the gravity of her actions and the need for ongoing monitoring and support.
