WEST DRAYTON MAN JAILED FOR 15 YEARS IN STRING OF SEXUAL ASSAULTS
A 'predatory offender' named Thomas Biggs, aged 22, of Wraysbury Drive, West Drayton, has been sentenced to 15 years in jail for a series of sexual assaults and related crimes.Biggs had previously pleaded guilty on February 27 to multiple charges including assault by penetration, sexual assault of a female, attempted sexual assault of a female, two counts of attempted kidnap, and two counts of robbery.
His victims described being attacked in a 'degrading and terrifying' manner.
The attacks involving sexual assault and violence occurred across various incidents from April to October 2016, including an assault on a jogger on the Grand Union Canal, a sexual assault on a woman in Buckinghamshire, an attempted abduction, a groping and serious sexual assault on a woman walking in West Drayton, and a violent attack on a woman in Uxbridge.
Detectives linked these offences through extensive CCTV and phone signal analysis, leading to Biggs's arrest.
Initially denying all charges, Biggs later changed his plea to guilty, except for one count of sexual assault which was dropped and will be left on file.
He is required to remain on the sex offenders' register for life and on license for a further five years.
Police believe there may be additional victims and have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
