ANTHONY HUGGINS SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IN WEST DRAYTON AND LONDON

In a case that has shocked the local community, Anthony Huggins, a 34-year-old man from West Drayton, Middlesex, was sentenced to a decade behind bars for heinous acts of sexual assault and rape committed against a young girl. The sentencing took place at Isleworth Crown Court after Huggins was found guilty following a rigorous two-week trial that examined the disturbing details of his crimes.

Huggins’ offenses spanned over four years, beginning in January 2009 and continuing until December 2013. The assaults occurred in the areas of Shepherds Bush and Ealing, both in London, where the young victim was just seven years old when the abuse started. It was revealed that the victim disclosed the abuse to her family when she was approximately ten years old. Although the abuse temporarily ceased, it resumed a few months later, further traumatizing the young girl. Fear of Huggins’ violent tendencies and manipulative behavior kept her silent for years, preventing her from seeking help or reporting the crimes to authorities at the time.

Huggins was arrested on March 22, 2017, shortly after the police investigation was launched following the victim’s report. During the trial, he was found guilty of multiple charges but was acquitted of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
