NEWS TWO MEN CHARGED WITH RAPING A WOMAN IN SOUTHSEA
Two individuals have been formally accused of raping a woman in Southsea.Following a report that an 18-year-old woman was assaulted by two men she did not know, police launched a detailed investigation on Wednesday, 24 June.
The incident occurred between 1am and 3am at a residence on Manners Road.
Authorities have conducted extensive inquiries to gather all relevant details and have now charged two men in connection with the incident.
Tony Goldsmith, aged 45 and residing on Gilbert Street in Enfield, faces three counts of rape.
Similarly, Bobby Watson, aged 46 from Highbridge Street in Waltham Abbey, Essex, has been charged with three counts of rape.
Both men are currently in custody and are scheduled to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, 29 June.
