TIMOTHY SCREEN EXPOSES HIMSELF IN NEWBRIDGE AND PONTYPOOL: SHOCKING INCIDENTS REVEAL DISTURBING BEHAVIOR

In a disturbing series of events that have shocked the local communities, Timothy Screen, a 35-year-old man from Hight Street, Pentwynmawr, Newbridge, was found guilty of exposing himself to young girls and engaging in inappropriate behavior in public. The incidents took place on May 19 of the previous year and involved two separate locations, highlighting a pattern of troubling conduct.

According to court records, Screen was driving his Nissan Almera along Blaendare Road in Pontypool when he deliberately slowed down his vehicle to expose himself in front of two young girls, aged 12 and 14. These girls, who were strangers to him, were walking along the street at the time. The act was committed in broad daylight, causing significant distress to the victims and alarming witnesses who observed the incident.

Not stopping there, Screen continued his inappropriate behavior shortly afterward on the same road. He repeated the act in front of a woman, further demonstrating a pattern of reckless and disturbing conduct. The court heard that Screen pleaded guilty to charges of exposure and two counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of children, acknowledging his actions before the court.

Judge Eleri Rees presided over the case at Newport Crown Court. She described the incidents as “shocking and distressing” for the young victims, emphasizing the severity of the behavior and its impact on those involved. The judge ordered Screen to participate in a sex offender treatment program for a period of three years, aiming to address his behavior and prevent future offenses.

In addition to the treatment order, the court imposed a financial penalty, requiring Screen to pay £650 in costs. Furthermore, he was disqualified from working with children indefinitely, a measure intended to protect vulnerable individuals from potential harm. The judge also expressed her sympathies for Screen’s wife and family, acknowledging the personal and social repercussions of his actions. The case has garnered significant attention in the local area, raising concerns about public safety and the importance of vigilance in community settings.
