THOMAS HEARN FROM SWANSEA JAILED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES

A man residing in Swansea has been sentenced to prison following serious allegations of child sexual offenses.

Thomas Hearn, aged 21 and from the St.

Thomas area of Swansea, was found guilty of engaging in inappropriate and criminal behavior involving a very young child.

According to court records, Hearn was responsible for kissing the young victim on the lips on two separate occasions.

These actions constitute sexual assault by touching, a serious offense under the law, and involved a child under the age of 13.

Hearn did not contest the charges and pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault by touching, which underscores the gravity of the misconduct.

The case was heard at Swansea Crown Court, where the judge delivered a sentence of 16 months in prison on March 7.

In addition to his incarceration, Hearn was subjected to notification requirements for a period of 10 years, meaning he will be legally obliged to register and comply with certain restrictions related to his conduct.

Furthermore, a restraining order was imposed for the same duration, serving to protect the victim from any form of contact or harassment for the next decade.
