A woman’s attacker, described as a 'dangerous predator,' was told by his teenage victim that 'you turned into someone bad, things happen to' as he was sentenced to prison.
Tayumur Raja from Oldham was convicted and sentenced to nine years for the sexual assault.
Police reports indicate that he laughed when he learned of the allegations.
The incident took place in September 2021 when the victim, then 17, left a nightclub in Oldham at approximately 4.15am.
She was unable to pay for her taxi and exited the vehicle, then ordered another via her mobile phone.
She entered a different car believing it to be her ride, but Raja was the driver.
He drove her to a car park, where he committed the assault.
She managed to escape from him and ran to a nearby supermarket for safety.
