STUART GOODMAN FROM MILTON KEYNES JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE ABROAD IN SHOCKING CASE

In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Milton Keynes, Stuart Goodman, aged 37, has been convicted and sentenced for his involvement in heinous online child abuse activities that spanned across international borders. The court heard how Goodman, a resident of Milton Keynes, engaged in a series of depraved acts facilitated through the internet, specifically targeting vulnerable children in the Philippines.

According to evidence presented during the trial, Goodman used popular webcam sex sites to connect with women from different countries, including the Philippines. It was revealed that he requested and watched live streams of children as young as three years old being subjected to sexual abuse. These acts were carried out by predators in impoverished communities, and Goodman’s role was that of a voyeur, watching these acts unfold from the comfort of his home in Milton Keynes.

The police investigation uncovered a trove of disturbing material on Goodman’s laptop during a raid at his residence in Milton Keynes in April 2015. Authorities seized multiple pieces of computer equipment, which were subsequently analyzed. The forensic examination revealed hundreds of indecent images of children, along with evidence indicating that Goodman had been actively communicating with women abroad through legitimate webcam sites. These communications included requests for, and the viewing of, live sexual abuse involving children, which he watched for his own sexual gratification.

Prosecutor Adrian Foster detailed the extent of Goodman’s crimes, stating, “This case involved Stuart Goodman using an internet webcam sex site to direct others abroad to commit depraved acts of child sexual abuse, as well as the making, possession, and distribution of indecent images of children and the possession of prohibited images of children.”

Goodman’s actions were particularly disturbing given his preference for very young girls, typically between the ages of three and six. His online activities allowed him to indulge in his sordid desires while causing immense pain and suffering to vulnerable children in impoverished regions, leaving them with lifelong scars.

In court, Goodman admitted to 17 separate offences related to the possession and distribution of indecent images, as well as his involvement in facilitating abuse abroad. The judge sentenced him to 16 years in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court. This case is believed to be the first of its kind in the UK, with Goodman being the first British individual convicted of conspiring to commit child rape abroad.

Detective Constable Kathryn Combstock, from Milton Keynes Local Area CID, commented on the significance of the case, saying, “This is a landmark case…the first conviction of its kind.” The case has highlighted the global nature of online child exploitation and the importance of international cooperation in bringing offenders to justice.
