VILE JOHNSTONE DAD HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF THE SAVAGE RAPE OF A TEENAGE GIRL HE ATTACKED AFTER LURING HER INTO A STAIRWELL.
A VILE Johnstone dad has been convicted of the savage rape of a teenage girl he attacked after luring her into a stairwell.Twisted Steven McElwee, 22, was sentenced to six years and placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for carrying out the brutal rape of the 19-year-old.
The harrowing attack was captured on CCTV at a block of flats at Provost Close in the town.
And a judge condemned McElwee not only for the rape but for forcing the victim to view the act on footage in court when he protested his innocence.
The High Court in Glasgow heard temporary judge Rita Rae tell him: "Not only was she forced to give evidence in the High Court, but also had to view the whole act as it had been captured on close-circuit television.
One can only imagine the effect that must have had on her." As McElwee was sent down to begin his prison stretch, members of the victim's family shouted "scum" at him.
