BASILDON RAPIST JAILED FOR 13 YEARS AFTER CROWN COURT TRIAL
A rapist has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after attacking two women, including one at a Basildon party.Sheldon Tapfumaneyi, 24, from Champion way, Oxford, stood trial at Basildon Crown Court last year, where he was convicted of two counts of rape.
He was acquitted of one count of sexual assault.
The first incident occurred in the Manchester area in 2019, and the second took place in Basildon in August 2020.
Tapfumaneyi was sentenced after being convicted of these offenses and will serve a prison term of 13 years.
