SHANE WARREN FROM KIRKBY-IN-ASHFIELD SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN NOTTINGHAM

In a recent court ruling, Shane Warren, a 33-year-old man from Kirkby-in-Ashfield, was sentenced to prison after admitting to serious child sexual offences committed in the past. The offences involved two young victims, both under the age of 16, and took place during the early 2000s, a period when Warren was approximately 14 years old.

Warren, who formerly resided on Kingsway in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, faced charges of indecent assault. He pleaded guilty to four counts related to these offences, which involved inappropriate and unlawful acts against the two children. The court proceedings took place at Nottingham Crown Court, where Warren appeared on Monday, October 7, 2019, for sentencing.

During the hearing, the judge sentenced Warren to a prison term of 20 months.
