SHANE LOVERIDGE FROM WANTAGE JAILED FOR MOLESTATION IN OXFORD

In December 2014, Shane Loveridge, a 21-year-old resident of Mably Grove in Wantage, was found guilty of a serious sexual offense involving a minor.

The incident took place on May 4 in Oxford, where Loveridge was accused of engaging in inappropriate and unlawful sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.

Following a court trial, Loveridge was convicted of the charges against him.

The court sentenced him to a six-week imprisonment, reflecting the severity of his actions.

In addition to his jail term, he was ordered to pay a total of £80 in compensation to the victim, acknowledging the harm caused.

Furthermore, he was required to cover legal costs amounting to £100, which were associated with the prosecution of the case.
