SEAN SKINNER'S BRUTAL CRIME IN BIRKENHEAD: DOG KILLED AFTER MESSING IN HIS ROOM
Sean David Skinner, a man born around 1990 and residing at Gamlin Street in Birkenhead, was convicted of a heinous act of animal cruelty that shocked the local community.The incident involved the tragic death of a six-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Ty, which Skinner had owned for only five weeks after purchasing him from a friend for £80.
On October 28, 2013, police officers investigating the dog's death responded to Skinner's residence.
The police had called in the RSPCA to examine the scene, which was immediately declared a crime scene due to the severity of the injuries and the circumstances surrounding the dog's death.
RSPCA inspector Anthony Joynes arrived to find a disturbing scene: a trail of blood leading through the house and the lifeless body of Ty lying in the bathtub.
According to court proceedings, Skinner, who is a father of three, admitted to the authorities that he had thrown Ty against a wall.
The reason for this violent act was reportedly because the dog had made a mess in Skinner's bedroom.
