VILE SEX PREDATOR SCOTT KIRKHAM JAILED FOR GROOMING UNDER FALSE IDENTITY
A vile paedophile used fake social media profiles to groom and abuse 'vulnerable' young girls.Scott Kirkham created the fake profiles under the name ‘Jake Richardson’ and falsely claimed to be between 14 and 16 years old.
The victims were all aged between 13 and 17.
He used a fake photo to befriend victims before meeting them in person sometimes with their parents present.
He met with two girls in Cumbria and Blackpool and sexually assaulted one at his home in Tameside.
His 'campaign of deceit' was uncovered when police tracked his IP address, seized devices, and found his fake accounts along with sexually explicit pictures of himself sent to the girls in archived WhatsApp chats.
Kirkham, now 23, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
He will spend three more years on license, with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and remains on the sex offenders' register.
