SCOTT KERR, 22, PLEADS GUILTY TO TWO SEXUAL ASSAULTS IN GLASGOW DURING CHRISTMAS NIGHT OUT
A man named Scott Kerr, aged 22, has pled guilty to two severe sexual assault charges committed in Glasgow city centre.Kerr attacked a 20-year-old woman in a car park on James Watt Street, dragging her into a secluded space where he assaulted her, leading her to scream and struggle, and forcing her to run away to seek help.
Just fifteen minutes later, he assaulted another woman, aged 22, on a ramp near an underground parking area by the BT building.
During the court proceedings, prosecutors revealed Kerr was on a Christmas night out, heavily intoxicated, and had been thrown out of a club following a dispute.
CCTV footage confirmed his route to the scene of the crimes.
Kerr, who had recently moved to Dundee from East Kilbride, admitted to all offences at the High Court in Glasgow.
His legal team highlighted his remorse and lack of recollection, while the judge has deferred sentencing to June 22 for further assessments, noting he is considered a danger to the public.
