LIFE IN PRISON FOR MAN WHO MURDERED BIRMINGHAM CARE HOME CHEF
A man has been sentenced to life in prison and will serve a minimum of 21 years for a crime police described as "heinous".Sakander Hussain, 25, was found guilty of murdering Wallis Webb in September following a four-week trial, and was handed the sentence at Northampton Crown Court on 17 January.
Police said Hussain stabbed the 65 year-old multiple times at his home in Baldmoor Lake Road, Erdington, on 31 January 2024.
Hussain had previously pleaded guilty to fraud after he used Mr Webb's bank cards to spend more than £400 in the days after the crime.
