RYAN MCANDREW CAUSES SCANDAL IN STONEHAVEN WITH PUBLIC INDECENCY AND SEXUAL ACTS

A man named Ryan McAndrew was taken into custody following a series of disturbing incidents involving public indecency and sexual behavior in the town of Stonehaven. The troubling events unfolded in a secluded alleyway, where McAndrew was seen engaging in inappropriate acts while dressed in provocative attire, including a thong and high heels, which alarmed and disturbed a local resident.

The initial incident was reported around 4 a.m. on August 29, 2022. A witness, who noticed suspicious sounds and footsteps outside their window, looked out and observed a figure dressed in a black jacket, thong underwear, and gold or cream-colored high heels. The individual was performing a sexual act in the street before walking away from the scene. This early morning disturbance caused concern among residents and drew police attention to the case.

Further troubling behavior was documented on October 5, 2022, when another witness observed McAndrew pacing in the same area. During this encounter, he was seen exposing himself and engaging in sexual acts while dressed in different clothing, again including high heels. The pattern of inappropriate conduct persisted, leading to further police investigations.

On October 27, 2022, authorities apprehended McAndrew. During his arrest, police officers discovered that he was in possession of female underwear and a pair of high heels, items that appeared to be connected to his previous acts. McAndrew was subsequently charged and later pleaded guilty to charges of public indecency and intentionally exposing his genitals in public.

At the time of his court appearance, McAndrew was held at HMP Grampian. He appeared before the court without legal representation and admitted to the police that he was “out dogging,” a term often used to describe engaging in sexual activities in public places. The court decided to postpone sentencing to allow for a social work report and a comprehensive risk assessment to be prepared. McAndrew reserved his right to present further mitigation during the sentencing hearing, indicating that he may have additional information or context to provide at a later date.
