She then proceeded to kick her partner’s van, throw an empty paint can at it, and try to rip off a wing mirror.
Later, she was observed hitting the van with a large pole, which inflicted extensive damage to the windscreen, bonnet, and fittings.
The police found the victim sitting outside a local hotel with bruising and observed the van's damage.
Hatten pleaded guilty to assaulting her partner by repeatedly punching him in the head and kicking him, causing injury, as well as threatening his safety by shouting, swearing, and damaging his vehicle.
Her legal representative explained her actions were influenced by alcohol and anger over previous events involving her ex-partner.
The court, presided over by Sheriff Nigel Cooke, sentenced her to a supervision order for one year and 100 hours of unpaid work, concluding the relationship had ended.
The court emphasized the seriousness of her actions within the context of domestic violence.
