DEPRAVED BABYSITTER ABUSED TODDLER AND SENT VIDEOS TO PAEDOPHILE LOVER IN EXETER
A wicked babysitter who sexually abused a young child in her care and circulated videos of the abuse to her paedophile lover has been sentenced to prison.Poole recorded herself abusing the toddler and sent these images to Kingsland, a married man residing in Exeter, who encouraged her depraved actions.
Kingsland received a 15-year prison sentence, which includes an extended period.
Judge David Evans stated: "Both of you were adults fully aware of your actions at every stage.
Each chose to plan and perform their perverted desires.
This was a true unification of malicious minds." Prosecutor Mr.
Jason Beal informed the court that the authorities located the couple in mid-2020.
Poole, who moved to the UK in 2018 and married a British man, appeared unannounced at Kingsland's family residence in Exeter.
She claimed to be his girlfriend and expressed concerns about her own whereabouts.
It emerged they had met through an online adult sex party platform called 'Killing Kittens.' Kingsland traveled to London to meet Poole, and the two began a relationship.
They started discussing their paedophile interests via WhatsApp, and police discovered hundreds of messages where they expressed a desire to have children in order to exploit them.
Kingsland was handed a 15-year sentence, including the extended term.
Judge Evans commented: "Both of you knew exactly what you were doing at each step.
You planned and carried out your illicit cravings.
This was a clear collaboration of wicked minds." Poole admitted to several sexual offenses against the child.
These included eleven sexual assaults, conspiracy to assault a child, engaging in sexual acts with a child, taking indecent images of a child, and sharing such images.
She also confessed to conspiring to rape another girl.
According to Mr.
Beal, Kingsland and Poole collaborated to abuse a one-year-old child, with Poole abusing the child on multiple occasions.
They sent each other WhatsApp messages describing the incidents, with Kingsland responding eagerly, calling Poole 'my Dark Angel' and saying, "You make my black heart so happy," accompanied by emojis.
Poole was heard laughing during some of the abuse.
In July of the previous year, police arrested Kingsland after discovering a video of a woman abusing a child and learning he planned to visit London to abuse children aged eight and twelve.
It was also revealed that he had a prior conviction from 2012 for exposing himself to two 12-year-old girls.
Poole has minor driving-related convictions from the US.
Following the sentencing, senior detective SI Si Costin stated: “Kingsland and Poole are extremely dangerous individuals who harmed a child and caused suffering for families.
“I want to acknowledge the courage of the families who personally shared their experiences and the profound impact this has had on them.
I sincerely hope they can begin to recover now that justice has been served.
“This investigation was exceptionally challenging and one of the worst cases my team has handled.
It involved months of meticulous work, including reviewing distressing images.
The only relief is knowing these offenders will be behind bars for a long time and unable to harm anyone else.
“I also hope this acts as a warning that the Paedophile Online Investigation Team is working tirelessly every day.
If you commit child abuse, you will be found, and the next visit to your door might be from us.”
